Kimberly Davison Daniels of Southern Pines, North Carolina and John Hartman Taws of Southern Pines, North Carolina were united in marriage at six o’clock in the evening on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pastor Gloria Johnson officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Teresa Davison Daniels of Raleigh, North Carolina and Frank Arthur Daniels III of Clarkesville, Tennessee. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wade Davison of Naples, Florida and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Arthur Daniels Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Town Taws Jr. of Pinehurst, North Carolina. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Town Taws Sr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gwyn Poindexter of Aberdeen, North Carolina.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Alexandra Diana Sterling of London, England served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marisa Rendeiro Poe of Raleigh, North Carolina, Lisel Christine Morris of Boulder, Colorado, Natalie Erwin Nagim of Fort Worth, Texas, Katie Holderness of New York, New York, and Mary Graham Willoughby of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Edward Hubert Meacham of Southern Pines, North Carolina served as the best man. Groomsmen were Frank Arthur Daniels IV of Raleigh, North Carolina and Joseph Davison Daniels of Apex, North Carolina, both brothers of the bride, Eddie Arthur Gerard Desloovere, of Avelgem, Flanders, Belgium. Stephen Fredericks Later of Southern Pines, North Carolina and David Bagley Woronoff of Pinehurst, North Carolina, cousin of the bride.

Readers were Reed Hartman Taws, son of the groom and the late Ashley Warren Taws, of Southern Pines, North Carolina and Parker Funkhouser Poirier of New York, New York and Michelle Thomas Supko of Southern Pines, North Carolina. Flower Girls were Taylor Paige McKinley and Emily Reid Parks. Steve Curtis Thompson II of Pinehurst was an usher. Andie Stuart Rose and Brooke Lily Cutler both of Southern Pines, North Carolina greeted the guests.

A reception was given by the parents of the bride following the ceremony at the home of her paternal grandparents in Raleigh. The groom and his parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Capital City Club.

The bride graduated from Chatham Hall School for Girls in Chatham, Virginia, followed by Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She was presented at the Terpsichorean Ball in Raleigh. The bride runs The Country Bookshop in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The groom graduated from St. Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire followed by Duke University. He is the President of Fletcher Industries and Fletcher International.

The bride and groom will reside in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
