Motorcyclist, from Graham, dies in accident early Sunday

— A motorcyclist was killed early Sunday in Raleigh when he ran off the road and hit a sign.

Raleigh Police said Kevin Wesley Freeze, 42, of Graham, was traveling south on Wake Forest Road around 2:30 a.m. when he exited to get on northbound Capital Boulevard. He lost control of the motorcycle on the ramp, left the pavement and struck a road sign. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
