Man wounded in shooting at Durham's McDougald Terrace apartments

— Police were searching Monday for suspects in the Sunday night shooting of a 19-year-old man outside the McDougald Terrace apartment complex in southeast Durham.

The man was hit several times while standing outside Building 32 in the 360-apartment complex run by the Durham Housing Authority, police said.

It happened shortly before 8:30 p.m. at Lawson Street and Ridgeway Avenue.

The man was taken to Duke University Hospital, but no information wsas available on his condition.
