Police charge Raleigh man, 50, had heroin in pickup truck

— Eric Williams, 50, of Raleigh was charged with having 90 individual doses of heroin in his possession when police stopped his pickup truck on Capital Boulevard in north Raleigh on Monday morning.

Police said the 90 “bindles” totaled about 3.6 grams of the drug.

In addition to possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver heroin, Williams also was charged with maintaining the 1995 Chevrolet Silverado as a place to keep or sell drugs.

Police stopped Williams in the 10000 block of Capital Boulevard, an arrest report stated.

Williams was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail pending a court appearance Tuesday.
