Zebulon incumbents Clark, Matheny re-elected; York joins town board

    Annie Moore →  23.99%

    Glenn York →  30.95%

    Zebulon Mayor

    Bob Matheny (i) →  90.20%

    Richard Poole →  8.82%

— Town residents stuck with incumbent Mayor Bob Matheny and incumbent Commissioner Beverly Clark and chose Glenn York to fill an open seat on the town board.

Matheny earned about 90 percent of the vote, topping challenger Richard Poole. Matheny will begin his fifth term as Zebulon mayor and 36th year as an elected official.

Clark topped the field of five commissioners candidates, followed by York, a political newcomer who earned nearly 31 percent of the vote.
