Puppy drum have been spotted on the jetties. Bluefish are biting off Frisco Pier. Large drum also have been caught off Avon Pier. Spot, bluefish and sea mullet are biting in the northern area of the pier. Red drum are biting inshore along with puppy drum and speckled trout. Offshore boats that made it out brought back triggerfish, black sea bass, amberjack and king mackerel. Bass are starting to move as the lake is turning because of seasonal changes, hitting on spinnerbaits around shallow woods. Crappie are biting on the shoreline, about 8-10 feet down on minnows.
