Woman found fatally stabbed in Durham

— Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman on Cedarwood Drive Friday evening, according to spokeswoman Kammie Michael.

Officers were called to 2917 Cedarwood Drive at 6:14 p.m. where they found the body of an adult female inside the house. She had died of apparent stab wounds, according to investigators.

The identity of the victim or information about possible suspects or motive was not immediately available late Friday.
