Barnard Bard: No sign of literacy

November 9, 2013

With reference to the signs in the Oct. 26 news story “Provocative signs put focus on child literacy”: The question is, what do they mean? The answer is nothing, as they are total gibberish. Will anybody go to the trouble of finding out more? I think not, certainly nobody who has better things to do with his time. A main aim of literacy is clear communication. These literacy promoters should go back to literacy school.
