— A second man is facing felony charges in connection with a dozen business break-ins in Raleigh in recent months.

Rasheim Eric Burden, 27, of 905 Seventh Ave. in Garner was being held in lieu of $400,000 for a first court appearance Tuesday.

Burden was charged Sunday with the same break-ins with which Heikeem D’Shawn White was charged that day.

White also was due in court Tuesday and was being held in lieu of the same bail amount.

Most of the break-ins involved the theft of cigarettes, authorities said in arrest warrants, although shoes and a mannequin were taken from The Athlete’s Foot store on Triangle Plantation Drive on Halloween.

Burden was charged with breaking and entering and larceny after that in a dozen cases.

In one case, the Wake County Sheriff’s Office filed the similar charge of burglary.

Burden alone was charged in a break-in at a tobacco store on Creedmoor Road.
