Aldi stores in the Triangle have great deals this week on baby carrots, zucchini, grape tomatoes, onions, red potatoes and peppers.

Plus, check out the low prices on many holiday meal staples and baking products in anticipation of the holidays. Some of the highlights: chocolate chips for $1.29 per bag, butter for $1.69 per pound and canned pumpkin for 89 cents.

Aldi does not accept coupons or provide bags. Bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent a cart. Your coin will be returned when you return the cart to the corral near the front door.

Zucchini: 99 cents for a 24-oz. package.

Grape tomatoes: 99 cents per pint.

Sweet onions: 99 cents for a 2-lb. bag.

Red potatoes: $1.79 for a 5-lb. bag.

Multi-colored peppers: $1.99 for three.

Smoked ham shank: 99 cents per pound.

Smoked ham butt: $1.19 per pound.

Spiral sliced half ham: $1.49 per pound.

Spiral sliced double glazed brown sugar ham: $1.99 per pound.
