Governor Pat McCrory promotes dog adoptions

Gov. Lexi and her puppies were rescued in Pender County puppy mill bust and the Wake County SPCA is taking applications for their adoption. As many as 30 dogs will be available for adoption at Saturday's event with the Governor and First Lady, which is from 10:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend as asked to RSVP to eventrsvp@nc.gov by Friday, Nov. 15, 2013.
