Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Houston Rockets guard James Harden will miss Wednesday's matchup with the Philadelphia 76ers due to a sore foot.

Harden, who leads the team in scoring with 24.9 points per game, has played in all eight of Houston's games this season.

He participated in pregame warmups before the team announced they are holding him out for precautionary reasons. There was no word on whether he will play Thursday at the New York Knicks.
