— A Durham man was arrested in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Friday morning and charged with shooting another man to death in Durham on Nov. 3.

Angel Tyquan Phillip was arresed in a house by members of the U.S. Marshals Service, according to Durham police.

Phillip, 22, is accused of shooting Jonathan Tyrick Moore in the 1300 block of Ridgeway Avenue, in the McDougald Terrace apartment complex, at about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3. The shooting followed an argument, according to police.

On the night of the shooting, police said Moore, 19, had been shot “multiple times” while standing adjacent to the road next to Building 32 in the complex, which is operated by the Durham Housing Authority.

Phillip faces charges of murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
