Two men, woman charged with trafficking marijuana from their Raleigh house

— Two men and a woman face marijuana trafficking charges after an arrest in which seized several pounds of the drug, arrest warrants said.

Charles Edward Smith, 26, and Halley Elizabeth Ellen, 26, were arrested at the house where all three live at 5116 Kaplan Drive.

Ryan Dover Smith, 27, was charged at the police department’s Southwest District station.

All the arrests took place early Saturday, according to reports.

All three were charged with trafficking in marijuana, for which 10 pounds is the minimum quantity.

Police said there were between 10 and 50 pounds.

Ryan Smith was being held Monday in lieu of $150,000 bail on three counts of trafficking and one count each of maintaining the Kaplan Drive house and a 2008 Infiniti as places to keep or sell drugs.

Charles Smith and Ellen were each charged with one count of trafficking and one count of maintaining the house.

Charles Smith was released on $75,000 bail and Ellen on $50,000.

They also had court appearances Monday.
