Wake man faces child-sex charge

From staff reportsNovember 22, 2013

— A Wake County resident was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail Friday after Wake County sheriff's deputies charged him with first-degree sex offense with a child between February 2011 and last Aug. 20.

James Alphonso Bolling, 57, of 3112 Antelope Lane, off East Garner Road, was arrested about 4:30 p.m. at the county detention center where he was being held Friday, records show.

The one count listed in an arrest warrant alleges Bolling engaged “in a sex offense with a child ... under the age of 13 years,” which is one circumstance for the charge.

Officials said the case involved a 4-year-old girl.

The warrant lists the offense as happening between Feb. 1, 2011, and Aug. 20 of this year.

Bolling was scheduled for a first court appearance Friday.
