Jack Jakucyk: ACA’s dirty secret

November 23, 2013

Obamacare shills like Ruth Marcus are out of touch with reality. In her Nov. 16 column “Obama caught in own trap,” she lamented the grandfather clause that allowed insurers “to continue to offer substandard plans.” Does she mean the ones that people liked and wanted and could afford? Those substandard plans? The ones that got canceled anyway?

Marcus and her ilk obviously prefer the expensive “exchanges” in which people are forced into coverage they don’t want or need so those artificially higher premiums can be used to subsidize everyone else. This is the dirty secret about how America is really paying for Obamacare. It was intended from the beginning.
