Students serve as pages in state Senate

McKenzie Pratt Armes, John Patrick Connell and Taylor Marie Dozier of Raleigh and Rebekah Emily Howard of Garner recently served as pages in the N.C. Senate.

Pages serve for one week, attending Senate sessions and committee meetings and assisting staff members with clerical duties.

McKenzie and Taylor, both students at Broughton High School, were sponsored as pages by Sen. Andrew Brock. McKenzie is the daughter of Martin and Cindy Armes and Taylor is the daughter of Kevin and Sarah Dozier.

John Patrick, a student at Woodberry Forest School in Virginia and the son of John and Hope Connell, was sponsored by Sen. Gene McLaurin.

Rebekah, a student a Wake Christian Academy and the daughter of Patrick and Lesa Howard, was sponsored by Sen. Brent Jackson.
