Posted by Amy Dunn on November 24, 2013

Kroger has nice deals this week on sweet potatoes, butter, canned goods, frozen vegetables and Cool Whip.

In addition, through Dec. 7, Kroger is offering quadruple fuel points on gift card purchases, which is a great way to save a little on gasoline during the holidays.

If you still need to buy a Thanksgiving turkey, Kroger or Honeysuckle frozen turkey is 79 cents per pound with an additional $35 purchase.

And finally, the digital Friday freebie this week is a box of Betty Crocker Mac & Cheese.

Keep reading for all of this week's top deals at Triangle-area Kroger stores.

Kroger savings tips:

*Kroger stores in the Mid-Atlantic region, which includes the Triangle, do NOT double coupons. Read about the coupon policy change HERE.

*Up to five identical coupons may be used in a single order, but there's no limit on the total number of coupons you may use.

*During Kroger's frequent 10 for $10 sales, you DON'T have to buy all ten to score the deal. Each item is individually priced at $1.

*Kroger offers digital coupons, which you may load onto your loyalty card. The digital coupons do NOT double and may NOT be combined with paper coupons. Set up an account on Kroger.com.

*Seniors save 5 percent on their total grocery bill every Tuesday.
