Recap: North Dakota vs. North Dakota St

Grand Forks, ND (SportsNetwork.com) - Troy Huff recorded a double-double with 32 points and 10 rebounds as North Dakota defeated the instate rival North Dakota State Bison at the Sioux Center.

Huff was 8-of-12 from the field and 3-of-6 from 3-point range for North Dakota (2-1). Aaron Anderson added 18 points in the win while Jaron Nash had 12 points and six rebounds and Chad Calcaterra had 11 points.

Taylor Braun led the Bison (2-3) with 34 points while Marshall Bjorklund was the only other NDSU player to score in double-figures with 11 points before fouling out.

North Dakota was 14-of-15 from the free-throw line in the first half and shot 48.3 percent from the field as the squad carried a 44-35 lead into the break.

In the second half North Dakota shot 19-of-26 from the charity stripe and 53.8 percent from the floor as it outscored the Bison 51-42 in the half.

NDSU had four of its five starters foul out of the game as the Bison committed 30 personal fouls which led to 33 points from the free-throw line for UND.
