Triangle Family Services 11th Annual Gingerbread Benefit is set for Dec. 5 with an entire day of events at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary.

From 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., people can pay $25 for a preview of the gingerbread houses, enjoy holiday music and vote for their favorite house. Your $25 donation will help families stay in their homes. (There’s a special online right now where you can purchase admission for two people for $25.)

From 4-5 p.m., there will be a children’s tea with Santa. Children can have their picture taken with Santa, listen to Santa tell a holiday story, decorate their own gingerbread houses and enjoy hot chocolate and other treats. The cost is $55 per child or adult or $195 for a family of four.

From 6:30-9:30 p.m., the evening benefit will be held. People can bid on live and silent auction items, listen to holiday music and enjoy beer, wine and desserts. Tickets for the evening event are $105 per guest or $195 for two people.
