What to Watch on Wednesday: Classic laughs with SNL Thanksgiving special

Thanksgiving-theme sketches are presented on a special episode of “Saturday Night Live.”


The Making of ‘The Sound of Music Live!’ (8pm, NBC) - A behind-the-scenes look at “The Sound of Music Live,” which airs on Dec. 5, includes interviews with stars Carrie Underwood and Stephen Moyer, as well as footage of casting, rehearsals and the CD recording.

Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving (9pm, NBC) - Thansgiving-theme sketches from SNL are presented, including “Adam Sandler’s Turkey Song,” “Ed Grimley’s Thanksgiving” and “Greetings from Tonto, Tarzan and Frankenstein.”

Paranormal Witness (9pm, Syfy) - Several senior American airmen, including a lieutenant colonel, describe seeing what they believe were UFOs near a nuclear weapons base in Suffolk, England, in the third-season finale.

Haunted Highway (10pm, Syfy) - Jack, Dana, Jael and Devin team up for the first time in the Season 2 premiere, which finds them working together to investigate paranormal activity reported on a remote island in the Dry Tortugas off of Florida.

CSI (10pm, CBS) - Finlay disappears during a spa weekend with Sara and Morgan. The outing also turns into a murder investigation.
