Students gain experience in Senate

December 1, 2013 

Isabel Graham Ferguson and Sarah Frances Newby of Raleigh, Bryanna Lianne Thompson of Knightdale and Tharon Isaiah Suggs of Garner recently served as pages in the N.C. Senate.

Pages serve for one week, attending Senate sessions and committee meetings and assisting staff members with clerical duties.

Isabel, a student at Millbrook High School and the daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth Ferguson, was sponsored as a page by Sen. Phil Berger.

Sarah, a student at Trilogy School and the daughter of Paul and Macon Newby, was sponsored by Sen. David Curtis.

Bryanna, a student at Clayton High School and the daughter of Brian and Tamatha L. Thompson, was sponsored by Sen. Floyd McKissick.

Tharon, a student at Broughton High School and the son of Aaron Suggs and Michelle Moore, was sponsored by Sen. Daniel Blue.
