Anna Karin Green and Evan Suttle Yount were married November 30, 2013 at 6 o'clock in the evening at Edenton Street United Methodist Church in Raleigh, NC. The Reverends Ned Hill and Owen Barrow officiated. A reception followed at the Carolina Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Klapp Green Jr. of Raleigh, NC. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Anni Bavastrelly of Bremerhaven, Germany and the late Mr. Erich Bavastrelly and the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Klapp Green Sr.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael William Tally Sr. of Lexington, SC and Mr. Stephen Brent Yount of Ocean Isle, NC. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Alman Junkins of Lillington, NC and Mrs. Betty Cooper Yount of Pinehurst, NC and the late Mr. Brent Porter Yount.
Attending the bride as maid of honor was Mary Aiken Barrow of Raleigh, matron of honor Claire McKay Loehr of Charlotte and Megan Button Johnson of Hickory. Bridesmaids were Catherine Torrey Stroud Anderson of New York, NY, Ali Yarborough Daniels, Leah Christina Dorsey, Dr. Morgan McKain Edwards, Mary Catherine Rouse Green, Megan Johnson Green all of Raleigh, Katie Sebastian Fader of Greenville, Constance Barrett Lamar of Wilmington, NC, Brynn Ashley Hardman of Charleston, SC, and Emily Bass Shepard of Ocean Springs, MS. Reader was Miller Jefferson Smith of Charlotte, NC. Serving as greeter were Dr. Lindsey Roofe Lavin of Nashville, TN, Emily Roofe of Washington, DC and Lauren Puente of New York, NY. The flower girls were Liza Jane Green and Elizabeth Yount. Ring bearer was Porter Yount.
Mr. Stephen Brent Yount, Jacob Duncan Yount of Ocean Isle, NC and Adam Noah Yount of Charleston, SC served as best men. After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic they will reside in Raleigh, NC.
