Two accused of pot trafficking after Raleigh police seize plants

— Two men were charged with marijuana trafficking early Wednesday after Raleigh police said they found 23 plants and about 3.4 ounces of loose marijuana at the townhouse where the men live.

In arrest warrants, police said the plants comprised 12.4 pounds of the drug and were at the 2631 Hamlet Green Drive home where Shane Alan Roker, 30, and Carlos Romero Jr., 29, live.

Officers arrested the two shortly before 2 a.m.

Each was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail for a court appearance Wednesday on two counts of trafficking and one count of maintaining a dwelling as place to keep or sell drugs, both felonies.
