Wake Forest police looking for bank robbery suspect

Wake Forest police are searching for a man wearing athletic garb who robbed the PNC Bank at 3619 Rogers Road on Wednesday. Investigators made public this image of the suspect, last seen wearing a navy blue zip-up running jacket and white baseball cap. A white hooded sweatshirt is also visible.

— Police are searching for a man wearing athletic garb who robbed a bank at midday Wednesday.

The robbery occurred about noon at the PNC Bank at 3619 Rogers Road.

No injuries were reported.

Police have not released any details about the robbery, though investigators made public surveillance images of the man. He was last seen wearing a navy blue zip-up running jacket and white baseball cap. A white hooded sweatshirt is also visible.

Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call the Wake Forest Police Department at 919-556-9111.
