— A Wendell man faces charges from Wake County sheriff's deputies that he broke into a home on Ten Ted Road and stole three rifles, four pistols and $2,000 in coins.

Robert Cleveland Barham, 22, of 240 Gail Ridge Lane was arrested Thursday evening near his home, an arrest report said.

In an arrest warrant, deputies said Barham had burglarized the house Nov. 27 and left it with a Marlin 30/30 rifle, two .22-caliber rifles, two 9mm semiautomatic pistols and two revolvers, as well as the silver coins.

The warrant charged Barham with breaking and entering, felony larceny, possession of a stolen firearm and possession of a firearm by a felon.

State prison records show he was convicted in 2008 of attempted breaking and entering and attempted felony larceny.

Barham was being held in the Wake County Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Rolesville police had arrested Barham Nov. 3 on charges of felony larceny and possession of stolen goods, and he has a court date Jan. 9 on those felony charges.
