Four Scouts work together for Silver Award

Senith Berhane, Chelsea Johnson and Katherine Massey of Durham and Lauren Brooks of Hillsborough have received the Silver Award, the second highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

For their Silver Award project, the four Scouts planned and presented two activity nights at a local Ronald McDonald House. The girls also organized an afternoon of traditional Girl Scout camp activities for the Bounceback Kids program.

Senith is the daughter of Dess and Tess Berhane. Chelsea is the daughter of Bertha Johnson. Katherine is the daughter of Elizabeth Witherspoon and Curtis Massey, and Lauren is the daughter of Michelle and Geoffrey Brooks. All are members of Troop 643, led by Michelle Brooks and Michelle Autry.
