Player to watch:

Marshall Plumlee, Duke

After playing six effective minutes against Michigan, it will be interesting to see if Plumlee gets more opportunities. His season-high for minutes played is seven, against UNC-Asheville.

Observations:

Gardner-Webb head coach Tim Craft is in his first year at the school, coming off of six years on Jeff Lebo’s staff (the first three at Auburn and the latter half at East Carolina). Expect him to try to borrow heavily from Lebo’s game plan in the Pirates’ 83-74 loss (spread the floor offensively, looking for driving lanes and backdoor cuts and play 2-3 zone defense).
