Lamont Chaney (21) and Marquavious Johnson will be part of a Knightdale football team that is seeded fourth in the 4A East bracket for the N.C. High School Athletic Association football playoffs.

Southern Durham won the NC High School Athletic Association 3AA football state championship game, while Wake Forest fell in the 4AA title. This blog has links from playoff coverage. Knightdale entered the playoffs at the top team in the N&O greater Triangle area.
