Rouzer hires campaign manager

Posted by Craig Jarvis on December 17, 2013

David Rouzer has hired a campaign manager with national political experience for his rematch against U.S. Rep. Mike McIntyre in North Carolina’s 7 Congressional District.

Tyler Foote has worked on state and federal campaigns across the country, most recently managing Virginia House of Delegates member Mike Watson’s re-election.

Foote was campaign manager for Rep. Tim Murphy of Pennsylvania 2012 re-election, and worked on the 2010 Kentucky Senate campaign for Secretary of State Trey Grayson.

“Tyler has a wealth of experience and I am very excited to have him join our team,” Rouzer said in a news release his office sent out Tuesday. “Tyler has served as campaign manager on other competitive races around the country, and I know his experience in those competitive districts will be of great benefit during this campaign.”

Rouzer’s campaign on Tuesday also sent out a call for campaign contributions, saying it’s important that finance reports reflect hearty fundraising by the end of the year.
