Raleigh police seek two men in jewelry store robbery

— Police are seeking two men suspected of stealing $25,000 from a Raleigh jewelry store.

The unidentified men entered Raleigh Gold and Estate Jewelery, on the 10000 block of Little Brier Creek Lane, at about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, broke into display cases and took an estimated $25,000 of jewelery before fleeing.

One suspect is described as “a white male of unknown ethnicity” wearing green-colored trousers that “appear to have multiple zippered pockets” and a black jacket with a large white logo on its left front, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

A second suspect is described as a black man with a beard, wearing a red jacket with a hood, and a black baseball cap that appears to be emblazoned with the letter H.

Investigators ask anyone with information about the crime to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers, the anonymous tip line that pays cash for information leading to an arrest and conviction, at 919-834-4357. Information can also be submitted through raleighcrimestoppers.org
