Fire forces three from Raleigh home

— A fire in a home at 729 Catawba St. displaced three people and damaged about half of the building Thursday night, Raleigh firefighters said.

A 911 call about 5:45 p.m. brought firefighters to the split-level home on a wooded lot.

They found fire burning in the left side of the building, a report said.

Investigators listed the cause as accidental.
