Scout adds benches in Archer Lodge

Nolan Hopkins of Clayton has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Nolan installed benches at the Archer Lodge Community Center to provide spectator seating for the center’s athletic fields and playground.

Nolan, the son of Buddy and Gina Hopkins, is a junior at the N.C. School of Science and Mathematics in Durham and is a member of Troop 421.
