Puppy drum fishing is going well at the point and at the jetties. There have been a few reports of black drum and flounder biting near the point as well. Cape Lookout/Bogue Inlet
Inshore, trout and puppy drum are still biting. Offshore, weather conditions have been poor, but there have been some reports of wahoo and black sea bass. There have been reports of crappies biting on various live baits. Striped bass have been biting on jigs, baby shad, and minnows at depths of 12 to 30 feet.
