For decades, New York had Dick Clark and Guy Lombardo to ring out the old, ring in the new. North Carolina has had Tommy Edwards and the Bluegrass Experience picking and singing us to “Auld Lang Syne” with their annual New Year’s Eve concert at Temple Theatre in Sanford. A Tar Heel state fixture since 1971, the Experience has won awards, recorded albums and performed at festivals throughout the state and as far afield as Northern Ireland. The show begins at 8.
