There’s a new food truck trying to get on the road in Raleigh and Durham: the Dump Pho King Truck.

Two women, Sophia Loo and Sunny Lin, are trying to get their truck up and running by April. They have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise about $19,000 to refurbish an used delivery truck into a mobile kitchen to serve pho, a Vietnamese soup, and dumplings.

They are doing a few tastings in Durham and Raleigh this week so you can taste a preview of what they hope to serve on their truck. Here are the details:

4:30 p.m. Saturday at Fullsteam brewery, 726 Rigsbee Ave., Durham.

1:30 p.m. Sunday at Big Boss Brewing Co. ,1249 Wicker Dr., Raleigh.

8 p.m. Thursday, Crank Arm Brewing, 319 W. Davie St., Raleigh.

9:30 p.m. Friday, Noir Bar and Lounge, 425 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh.
