DURHAM — Police on Saturday found a homeless man dead underneath a bridge at the Durham Freeway.
Officers did not release the name of the victim in a early Saturday afternoon press statement, nor have they said if they think foul play was involved, but they did question a friend of the victim who was at the scene when they arrived.
Police the man was found about 10:30 a.m. Saturday. A watch commander reported that officers responded to reports of a person down at N.C.-147 North near the Mangum Street overpass.
