Kroger awards scholarship

Kroger has awarded Imane Chettouch a $1,000 scholarship as part of its Kroger Scholars program.

Imane is the daughter of Ahmed and Fatima Chettouch, who work at a Kroger location in Cary. More than 300 children of Kroger employees won the scholarship this year. Recipients are selected based on a demonstrated commitment to academic achievement.

Imane planned to attend UNC-Greensboro.
