December 29, 2013

Maria Clare Kunath of Apex and David Franklin Pierce Jr. and Kayla SiMaya Williams of Raleigh served as pages in the N.C. Senate when it was in session earlier this year.

Pages serve for one week, attending Senate sessions and committee meetings and assisting staff members with clerical duties.

Maria, a student at St. Thomas More Academy in Raleigh and the daughter of Matthew and Bonnie-Clare Kunath, was sponsored as a page by Sen. Phil Berger. She was named Senate Page of the Week after her service.

David, a student at St. David’s School in Raleigh and the son of Frank and Renee Pierce, also was sponsored by Berger.

Kayla, a student at Wake N.C. State STEM Early College High School and the daughter of Tasha F. Williams, was sponsored by Sen. Earline Parmon.
