Week 2: Great Garden Book Giveaway

From staff reportsJanuary 3, 2014

“Home Ground: Sanctuary in the City” by Dan Pearson.

Books are on the way to winners of last week’s Great Garden Book Giveaway – which means it’s time to serve up a fresh crop of books to inspire you. We’ll draw names Monday for these books:

• “Propagation Techniques” by Mitchell Beazley.

• “Gifts From The Garden: 100 Gorgeous Homegrown Presents” by Debora Robertson.

• “Home Ground: Sanctuary in the City” by Dan Pearson.

For a chance to win, send an email to cmiller@newsobserver.com by 9 a.m. Monday. You must put “Book Giveaway” in the subject line for your entry to be considered. In the body of the email, include your name and mailing address and the name of the book you want to win.

We’ll draw at random and announce the winners – and our Week 3 drawing – in the next Home & Garden.

Last week’s winners:

Barbara Harvey of Cary: “Container Gardening.”

Evelyn M. Zobel of Raleigh: “Everyday Roses: How to Grow Knock Out and Other easy-Care Garden Roses.”

Lisa Hall of Sanford: “Vegetable Gardening in the Southeast.”
