Justified (10pm, FX) - In the Season 5 premiere, Raylan treks to Florida, where he tangles with dangerous members of the Crowe family. Meanwhile, Boyd sets his sights on the collapsing Detroit mob. Michael Rapaport joins the cast this season.

Also on tonight . . .

American Experience: The Poisoner’s Handbook (8pm, UNC-TV) - A fascinating documentary tracing the birth of American forensic science under the guidance of New York City’s first medical examiner, Charles Norris, and his chief toxicologist, Alexander Gettler. The two pioneered the use of forensic science to explain violent and suspicious deaths. Gettler in particular became an expert on arsenic poisoning. Included: remarks from renowned medical examiners Marcello Fierro and Michael Baden; and author Deborah Blum (“The Poisoner’s Handbook”). Narrated by Oliver Platt.

Intelligence (1:37am, CBS) - This new spy drama starring Josh Holloway (“Lost”) is preempted for the N.C. State at Notre Dame basketball game on WRAL. So to watch “Intelligence,” set your DVR for 1:37 a.m. If you miss it, you can watch on CBS.com or On Demand. “Intelligence” follows government operative Gabriel Vaughn, who is equipped with a microchip in his brain that gives him access to key intel information, which, in the series premiere, he tries to prevent from falling into the wrong hands after an inventor of the chip is kidnapped.

The Mindy Project (9:30pm, Fox) - Mindy wants to get in shape before a weekend getaway with Cliff, so she talks Danny into being her personal trainer.

Killer Women (10pm, ABC) - The premiere of a not-very-interesting new crime drama about the only female member of the Texas Rangers. In tonight’s opener, an ADA is murdered in a church on her wedding day, and a search gets underway for her killer. Tricia Helfer (“Battlestar Galactica”) is the star.

Chicago Fire (10pm, NBC) - Lt. Casey returns to work and Dawson begins training at the Chicago Fire Academy.

Frontline: To Catch a Trader (10pm, UNC-TV) - The story of the government investigation into SAC Capital Advisors, a hedge fund run by billionaire Steven Cohen that was suspected of insider trading. The fund agreed to plead guilty to the charges and pay a $1.8 billion fine in November 2013.
