— A 21-year-old Raleigh man has been charged with taking taking money from a Burger King where he worked Tuesday and using a handgun to rob a Harris Teeter supermarket the same day.

Wednesday, police charged Patrick D’Aaron Guerra of 1008 Wofford Lane with robbery with a dangerous weapon at the Harris Teeter on St. Alban’s Drive.

They also said in an arrest warrant that they believe he took $2,348 in cash from the Burger King.

The warrant did not identify the restaurant where Guerra worked.

On an arrest report, he identified himself as an unemployed student.

Guerra was being held in lieu of $500,000 bail for a court first appearance Thursday.
