Scout adds kiosk and bench to greenway

Jay Irwin of Chapel Hill has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle project, Jay built a kiosk and bench on the Jones Creek Greenway behind Morris Grove Elementary School in Chapel Hill.

Jay, the son of Britt and Mary Stuart Irwin, is a senior at Trinity School and a member of Troop 820.
