— Fire ravaged a large single-family home on Denberg Lane in Wake County Sunday night, officials said.

The blaze at 5445 Denberg Lane was reported about 9 p.m., and firefighters found the house ablaze when they arrived.

No one was home at the time of the fire, officials said.

No injuries to firefighters were reported.

Firefighters from several departments went to the scene.

Wake County records show that the house, which is in the Dutchman Downs subdivision and carries a Raleigh mailing address, was about 5,300 square feet.

Firefighters were not immediately able to determine how the fire began and were expected to begin an investigation Monday morning.

The house, built 10 years ago, was on a 14-acre lot at the end of Denberg Lane in the Dutchman Downs subdivision.
