Jim Frei: A fracking nightmare

January 13, 2014

The chemical spill into the Elk River, the sole source of drinking water for a large portion of West Virginia, is a reminder how precious our water supplies are. Imagine the chaos if a tanker truck full of fracking fluid crashed while crossing a U.S. 64 bridge over Jordan Lake or the Haw River. I doubt state Sen. Rick Gunn’s little SolarBees would be much help.
