Wake Forest police ask help in identifying man in theft from school

Wake Forest asked the public to help them identify this man whom they want to question in a theft from Franklin Academy.

WAKE FOREST POLICE DEPARTMENT

— The public is being asked to help Wake Forest police identify a man they are seeking in connection with a Jan. 2 theft of money from a school.

The man is seen in a surveillance-camera photo from the Franklin Academy charter school, where police said the money was taken.

Police said they want to question the man.

In the photo, he is wearing a dark red hoodie and jeans. He was described as tall.

They believe he left the school in a dark, late-model Toyota 4Runner SUV.

Police asked that anyone who can help them identify the man or has information concerning his whereabouts call the Police Department Tip Line at 919-435-9610.
