Cary retirement community Jordan Oaks sells for $23.8 million

Holiday Retirement, which owns more than 300 senior living communities in the U.S. and Canada, has acquired the Jordan Oaks retirement community in Cary for $23.8 million, according to Wake County property records.

Lake Oswego, Ore.-based Holiday also owns communities in Raleigh, Durham and Wake Forest.

The company is owned by Fortress Investment Group, which acquired Holiday in 2007.
