Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork.com) - Seattle Sounders FC signed forward Tristan Bowen on Wednesday after acquiring his rights from Chivas USA in a December trade.

Bowen enjoyed his best season in MLS last term with the Goats, appearing in 22 matches, including 15 starts, while scoring two goals with two assists.

"Tristan is a young player who has good experience in this league," said Sounders FC head coach Sigi Schmid. "He is very athletic and brings flexibility to our club. Tristan has the ability to play multiple positions."

The 22-year-old spent his first two professional seasons with the Los Angeles Galaxy, totaling two goals in 18 matches for the club before moving to Chivas.
