Aldi deals, Jan. 22-28

Aldi stores in the Triangle have great deals this week on produce, including blueberries, blackberries, mangoes, cantaloupe, tangerines and strawberries. There are also nice prices on specialty cheeses and deli-style pizzas -- just in time for Super Bowl.

Aldi shopping tips:

Aldi does not accept coupons or provide bags. Bring your own reusable bags and a quarter to rent a cart. Your coin will be returned when you return the cart to the corral near the front door.

This week's top deals:

Mangoes: 59 cents each.

Organic bananas: 69 cents per pound.

Cantaloupe: 99 cents each. Great deal.

Blackberries: 99 cents for 6 oz. package. Great deal.

Blueberries: $1.29 for 6 oz. package. Another great deal.

Organic apples: $1.39 per pound. Very nice price for organic.

Goat cheese log (4 oz.): $1.99.

Brie cheese round (8 oz.): $2.99.

Parmesan or Asiago cheese wedge (8 oz.): $3.49.

16-inch deli pizza: $4.49-$4.99.

Tortilla chips (13 oz.): 99 cents.

Wednesday meat special: Fresh pork sirloin roast for $1.49 per pound.
