Lizzie Borden Took an Ax (8pm, Lifetime) - Sunday school teacher Lizzie Borden ( Christina Ricci, naturally) is accused of murdering her parents with an ax in 1892 Massachusetts. She claims she is innocent, but the evidence suggests otherwise. As her trial rages on, the courtroom proceedings fuel sensational stories and headlines across the country. I’m not sure this can compare to Elizabeth Montgomery’s super creepy 1975 “The Legend of Lizzie Borden” movie, but the old ax girl is tempting fodder for filmmakers.

Shaun White: Russia Calling (8pm, NBC) - An inside look at the gold medal-winning snowboarder’s preparations for the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Also, a look at White running his company and dealing with personal pressures.

Pit Bulls and Parolees (10pm, Animal Planet) - A dog reportedly hit by a car turns out to be have wounds that appear to be from a fight, but this new addition to the kennel has Tia hoping a police officer will be the next to adopt.

The Haunting of … Shirley Jones (10pm, LMN) - Shirley Jones revisits her former home in upstate New York, where she was chased out of the house by spirits.
